The Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) is ONLY available to those who enroll in the $3,000 PPO Plan
Gallagher North America, Inc. offers a Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) benefit to help offset any out-of-pocket expenses you or your family may incur during the plan year.
A Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) is money your employer sets aside just for your qualified medical expenses. As an employee, you cannot contribute to the account.
If money is tight, this is a nice perk because your employer funds it. And when you have a qualifying medical expense you can get reimbursed from your HRA.
The account is set up by your employer, but does not count as income for tax purposes. Your employer owns the account, and monies are forfeited at the end of each year.
